When an employee's family member or close friend dies, employers often give them time off work to grieve. But what happens when the person who passes away is a colleague?  When bereavement and grief happen to your coworkers, you can be profoundly affected, too–and you also want to know what to do. The employer and coworkers can offer support and assist employees to deal with personal tragedies in the workplace.  In this episode HR expert Jenni Stone shares several steps employers can take to help employees through the grieving process.
